It's a love-hate thing: Vegas is good for three days, that's what I was told. At first you're overwhelmed with the glitzy razzamatazz and star spangled opulence, but soon after, the shiny neon surface begins to flicker and cracks appear in the American dream. Forget the sinister side of Vegas, if I'd had a fourth day in the Golden Nugget 12 buck buffet I would've left the building on a hospital gurney. What people don't realise is that a few hours drive from sin city is an ever-changing landscape of natural wonder. And after 55 days of early morning photography, camping out of a modest hire car, the allure of Vegas returns stronger than ever, even the Golden Nugget buffet seems like a good idea...
