Behind the Indian festival: I travelled to Pushkar to photograph the infamous camel fair, and found myself buried under a sea of travel photographers from every corner of the globe. At sunset it almost seemed as if there were more photographers than camels. So I started to look away from the camel fair itself and more towards what was happening behind the scenes of the festival. I focused on the people that surged and squeezed their way down the alleyways and back streets. I moved onwards with a man I met in Pushkar to a smaller festival in Bundi, and it was there I was invited to a small country wedding down towards Udaipur.
