The big mixing pot: Hong Kong is one of my favourite cities to photograph, there really is nowhere else like it on earth. Not only is it a buzzing metropolis, but it is also a vast mixing pot of cultures, traditions, colours and sounds... In between the world-class skyscrapers that dominate the impressive skyline are numerous atmospheric alleyways to be explored. Here, old ladies wearing conical hats bustle past on their daily business, vendors steam rice in little shacks for hungry customers or sell vegetables from street-side tables. Hong Kong is truly a world city, with billionaire businessmen from all over the globe sharing the same neon lit Blade Runner-esque streets with a local Chinese population...
